blazer vanes

can blazer 2" be offset or helical? should they be fletched straight. I am going to them this year but know nothing about how most guys shoot them

i have mine with a little offset. don't know if you will be able to get a helical with them due to the short length.

You can get them offset, but if i was you I would not becuase I think that they work better straight. They have worked good for me stright at the least. But the offset can be done and you might like it more.

This is usually fun.....I'll answer for both myself and Rob/PA Bowyer....

I shoot helical. He shoots offset. We tend to go back and forth on that one very often.....

Mine are set helical, but with only 2" of length it's very slight with blazers. IMPO either helical or offset will work for blazers. BTW, since switching to blazers I'm more prone to "Robinhooding" so you may want to start shooting at spots (no, not the neighbors dog) on your target, it's a money saver.

I use the righthelical clamp offset in my bitz jig and they work great. Only one to ever come off was when my kid shot it aiming at my nock.[:@]
