Hi. I'm new to the forums. I need some advice. I normally shoot Traditional bows. I scored a really great deal on a 2006 Reflex Caribou and I'm shooting a Bodoodle TimberDoodle rest on it. I can not for the life of me figure out how to quiet that rest down.I'm getting (hard to describe) a "shlang" sound from it..???? I have the tape silencers on the launchers and put a piece adhesive felt where the rest makes contact with the spring arm. That helped a little. Other than that, I'm tickled with the arrow flight I'm getting. Pretty forgiving rest if you muff up your release a little. Thanks.

Moleskin........lots of moleskin. Beat it up and replace it as it wears.Theres just too much surface to surface contact with that type of set up to not expect a Shlang if you are drawing and shooting against a hard silencing material.
Try the moleskin.......might change the shlang to a swoosh.
