Exactly... Yes, you can back them out, but for minor tinkering like peep installation or inserting new string leeches, it'd be a whole lot simpler to press it in a second or two.

I've got one figgered out, just need time to do it. It won't be a portable, no jacks, no hydraulics, no straps, no cables, no electricityand no ratchets.

WWAG: I've already figured out a redesign of your press that will work with the center pivot bows. I also have a thought about a possible improvement that will make your press easier to use.
