Given the fact that you are using a release, if your bow is well tuned and you are using a shoot through rest, I suspect you'll be fine. I'd rather be too stiff than too weak...

Those shafts are the same as Carbon Expresses and I cut the 200's down a 1/2" and had some problems.They are already stiff and cutting them down that much would most likely cause problems.

It is true that stiff is better than light but they are already stiff.If the chart says they are too stiff,they are too stiff.


I would say to leave them as is and sell them and get the correct shafts.It is going to be easier to sell the longer shaft than a shorter.

Just my experience.
