07 Hoyt Strings

Does anybody know if Hoyt is still using their Fuse strings on their 07 bows? If so are they getting better?

dont know what they will call them but I can almost guarantee that Hoyt/Reflex will be equipping the bows with strings and harnesses made in house.

Yes they are still fuse strings, but from what I'm told by a the local Hoyt rep is that they reworked all their string making machines this past year. The strings are supposed to be better.

From what I understand, as Trykonoisseur had mentioned, Fuse strings are reworked for this year, which means the new Trykons will be receiving the supposedly "better" '07Fuse strings as well as the rest of the Hoyt line.

If I do end up getting an '07 Hoyt, I am going to shoot the Fuse strings in, take them off, order a custom set to go back on the bow and have the Fuse strings as an emergency set.

I would prefer having a custom set on my bow anyways. Hopefully the cam lean has been decreased this year and the serving wear won't be nearly as bad.

Time will only tell. ;)

Hoyts strings have always been an issue. They have taken a step up with the fuse strings but they still are not the quality of some of the stock stings other manufacturers like Bowtech use. I highly suggest purchasing custom made aftermarket strings.

the fuse strings are not the best but definately not the worst by any stretch of the imagination....
