07 Hoyt Strings
Does anybody know if Hoyt is still using their Fuse strings on their 07 bows? If so are they getting better?
|
RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
sorry for threadnapping, but also i was wondering if the newer models of the trykon had better string then the original releases?
|
RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
dont know what they will call them but I can almost guarantee that Hoyt/Reflex will be equipping the bows with strings and harnesses made in house.

RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
yea they are still fuse strings

RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
Yes they are still fuse strings, but from what I'm told by a the local Hoyt rep is that they reworked all their string making machines this past year. The strings are supposed to be better.

RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
ORIGINAL: ikillsdeer sorry for threadnapping, but also i was wondering if the newer models of the trykon had better string then the original releases? If I do end up getting an '07 Hoyt, I am going to shoot the Fuse strings in, take them off, order a custom set to go back on the bow and have the Fuse strings as an emergency set. I would prefer having a custom set on my bow anyways. Hopefully the cam lean has been decreased this year and the serving wear won't be nearly as bad. Time will only tell. ;) |
RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
i will have a custom on my bow when i get it it will either be an r&a or a gibblett i havent decided yet

RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
Hoyts strings have always been an issue. They have taken a step up with the fuse strings but they still are not the quality of some of the stock stings other manufacturers like Bowtech use. I highly suggest purchasing custom made aftermarket strings.

RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
the fuse strings are not the best but definately not the worst by any stretch of the imagination....

RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
Thanks for the info guys. just asking even though i was probably gonna have gibblet make me a set anyway.

RE: 07 Hoyt Strings
I have a trykon and my fuse string has performed flawlessly and I don't use a rubber tube for peep alignment. It was set up once at the proshop and that was it. Great string!!! Yes they are using fuse strings like mentioned.
