6" brace height too short?

RE: 6" brace height too short?
I am a decent shooter, but no expert. Do you think a 6" brace is going to be too short, or is it more subjective than just brace height? Ideally, I would like to shoot them both, but, would still like some input.
With my 31 inch draw length I won't even consider a bow with a brace height under 7 inches and even one between 7 and 7.5 inches can be a bit tricky to shoot for me if there is alot of reflex in the riser and the cam is fairly agressive.
One also has to consider exactly what you are gaining by going from a 7 inch to a 6 inch brace height. Assuming the difference in speed is only about 10-12 fps then we are only talking about a marginal increase in KE and an insubstantial increase in trajectory. In my opinion take the slightly more forgiving bow and feel confident in your ability to achieve a higher level of accuracy.

RE: 6" brace height too short?
I was reading all the posts on the short brace (6" of the Vulcan)and I went to check my brace which is 6 3/4 " .So I don't think 3/4" of a inch would make alot of difference as far as getting in my way when shooting from a tree stand.
I think that if you have to turn so far but haven'ttheroom to do so correctly perhaps you need to look at your stand set up ?

....and in addition in can play a large part in determining a bow's level of inherent accuracy. Brace heights on today's bows range from a low of 5 inches to close to 10 inches. Seven inches is often quoted as the minimum for decent achievable accuracy for the average shooter.
