Definately different looking, but I am sure it will be one heck of a shooter.

Well, I can tell you, Len in Maryland has tried every bow that's come out for several years.... but he's always gone back to his trusty Darton Maverick with the recurve limbs. Guess what, he broke down after playing with this thing and has one on order especially for him. Yes, it's smoking fast and sweet to shoot.

Like I said before, it is one butt ugly bow. I'm sure they came up with that design because of all the problems with their limbs splitting.

I'm very unlikely to buy one of these right away, but it looks like a very interesting thing. How many people thought the original Mathews Conquest or MQ1 was a good looking bow at the time? How about the Patriot or Legacy? People bought them because of the way they shot, and the looks grew on us as they became more commonplace. I have wondered if something similar would not have been a good idea, not specifically for Bowtech, but for parallel limb bows in general, but never thought about the hinged limb pivot/support part of the design. I would love to shoot one and see what it is all about, but really can't see how it would shoot that much better than what is currently available. Of course, I never really warmed up to the whole parallel limb thing until I had a chance to shoot my Champion Scorpion for a few months.

Well, I just came in from shooting my '04 Pro 40 Freedom target bow,, and though it is somewhat parallel limbed,,,,,,,,

It's no Tribute;)

The Pro 40 Freedom feels like it about 12 years old compared to my Tribute in shot feel. If the Guardian is better that the Tribute,,,, it will sell great even if people can't get past the appearance.;)
