Default Rest install question

I am installing a whisker buscuit on my bow. Have a question. I appologize before hand for the lack of proper terminology.

After removing the old rest, I found it was mounted/screwed into a little sleeve that sat inside the hole that ran thru my bow. This sleeve was tightened into place by a small screw.

The whisker biscuit needs to be screwed into the opposite side of the bow, but the sleeve to screw it into, is too short, the screw wont reach. SO, I released the screw holding the sleeve in place, and moved the sleeve to the opposite side, but nowthe sleevedoes not reach the small screw that holds it into place.

Do they sell longer sleeves?
Should I put it back where it was, and just go with a longer screw?

Hope this make sense to someone....

Thanks in advance...

Default RE: Rest install question

I assume you are referring to a threaded insert of some kind, but I question why the WB needs mounted from the other side of the bow?? The bolt goes through the mounting bracket and into the riser on the opposite side of the shelf....If that makes sense. What bow is it?
