blazers with fixed broad heads
anyone shoot blazers with a fixed broadhead (Thunder head 100's)? Are the blazers big enough to control that broadhead?

RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
I shoot them with NAP Nitrons and get good accuracy.

RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
I've been continually testing some Muzzy 100's with Blazers and they are dead on, I had to make no adjustments whatsoever. The Thunderheads should do the same out of a well tuned bow.

RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
Thanks for the info . I was told that fixed blades didn't shoot worth a darn with Blazers as the arrow wouldn't stabilize .

I agree with CM. I too shoot muzzy's and Blazers. SMOKIN

RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
Blazers work just as well or better than a standard 4" vane.
I have been shooting my Montec tipped arrows with blazers out past 60 yards and am able to maintain a 4" group. |
RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
Blazers and slick tricks here. I am shooting my slicks just like the target tips...no problems!

RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
Thunderhead 100s was the first broadhead that I tried with the Blazers. They flew like darts. Also tested 1 1/2" Rocky Ultra 125s, Wensel Woodsman 125s and 150s, all with excellent results. Those Blazers are the ticket.:)

Muzzy 90's and Blazers with no problems.

RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
K, I'll be the oddball... Blazers with 100 gn Rocky fixed ironheads on my axis arrows don't work. They'll keep a field tip stable, not the bh.
