RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
Keep in mind they need to have some sort of offset or helical to them. If you fletch them straight they will not work much better than any other vane. If you want straight fletchings feathers work better because they have more drag and a natural curve to them even when fletched straight.
However with a small amount of offset the blazers should work well. I tried them this year and the spin my arrows about as good as 4 inch feathers or normal vanes. The are VERY stiff so they catch more air than a softer vane would. I don't know if I like them yet, but I won't deny that they work. Paul |
RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
Well i just got some axis arrows with the blazers on them and i havent shot my broadheads yet but so far with field points they are working great. I love how small they are and how fast and stright they go. I just hope they work out with the broadheads. Season opens friday so im gonna try the broadheads hopefully tommrow.
By the way im shoot 100 thunder heads, Any one use these heads on the axis arrows with blazers? |
RE: blazers with fixed broad heads
Blazers and 100gr Muzzys flying great! Whoever told you blazers won't shoot well with fixed blade BHs may have a tuning problem.
