Where to buy a bow online?
My brother wants to get a new bow. He doesn't want to put a lot of money into a bow until he is sure he will like it. Does anybody know any good places to look online that has decent prices for new bows?
Thanks

Pro Shop. I've seen too many new archers buy total junk off ebay thinking they got a great deal.
"Dude I got a sweet bow off ebay!"
"How much?"
"$250".
"What kind?"
"I don't know - it says PSE. It's only 10 years old and it comes with the original strings and cables too!".
An actual conversation I've had - no kidding.

Keystone country store is where I would buy one. Great tech help and 100% satisfaction guarantee. I wouldn't have any problems getting one from them but then again I know whatI want. The reflex line of bows are very user friendly.

The whole question of your's and your friend's experience level means that he should NOT be buying off the internet. Only the experienced should be doing this, and most of the xperienced guys go to a pro shop because they know that they'll end up with SERVICE after the sale. It's OK for some stuff, but only if you know what you're doing.
He at least needs to get measured for the right draw length and weight that he can handle. Possibly the guy running the shop knows of or has some good used equipment that can be had reasonably. Nothing wrong with that.
Just the fact that you ask the question leads me to say "No way".

I wouldn't buy one off the internet. But if you do, at least go to a shop and check out all the bows you are interested. Pick out the make, model, draw lenght and weight then try to find one online.

Go to Bass Pro, they have a sale going and they have three different PSE bows set up for under $300. I'm trying to talk a couple friends into them now. But I agree with everyone else on this.... Get it in our hand before you buy. If it doesn't fit you like a glove you'll regreat it!!
