Default Advice about BowTech Tomkat

I have a friend that is asking me for advice about the BowTech Tomkat. All I know is it is a middle of the road bow with a large brace height. Does anyone have any personal experience they could relate?

One of the best hunting bows for the money out there in my opinion.

I had an 05 model and loved it ( single cam). I had to use a drop away rest due to the large brace ht and was shooting a 420 gr arrow 259 fps with a 29 inch draw and 65lb. The bow is quiet and very lite. It is a super bow for what you pay.

Check out the great camo pattern on that TOMKAT!

Cougars09,
The tomkat doesn't come as a bare bow, it only comes as a package. It's about $500.

I like the patten on the far right arrow better, buck442. Thanks for the input guys. I'll pass it on to my buddy.

I ordered a TomKat but it hasn't come in yet. Could you explain why the brace height requires you to use a drop-away? It comes with a biscuit, so I'm not understanding that. Thanks!

My son just bought a 06 tomkat with the binary cam system, all set up with a fall away rest, sims stabilizer, sight, tube peep, quiver, six easton lite speed arrows, 589.00 with tax.He shoots 281/2 inch draw at 70# and getting 301 fps fast bow and he got the cool looking camo like the color of dried corn stalks,I forgot what they call it.
