the modules on the allegiance should say EFA for the fast modules and ESM for the smooth mods the 5 specifies draw length of 26" the smooth mods that i have seen are black too so it seems that you have the fast mods because they are the metallic gray color

good luck and good hunting

There are no replaceable modules on an '05 Binary cam bow from BowTech. You must change the cam set complete to change the draw length.

The '06 bows will have the "ESA" and "EFA" on the replaceable modules. If yours only has an E5 on it, it's an '05

OK...OK...back up...if you are shooting a 2005, refer to Walks_with_a_gimp's coments...if you are shooting a 2006 then your mod themselves will have either ESA (smooth) or EFA (fast) stamped on them.

It is a 2005 model - now is there different modules on the 2005 like the 2006? If so how can I tell what one is on my bow?

Ok the 05's don't have modules so there is no fast module or smooth module. The cams on the 05's are draw length specific so to change draw lenght you have to change the cams.
