Default Goldtips

Hello All

Was wondering if anyone has seen this before or heard of it.

Goldtip hunter 5575 this is literally bent like a snake. It has no breaks or splinters what so ever. I took this arrow to a goldtip dealer in PA and he was shooked by it and claimed he had never heard of anything like it from a carbon arrow. I called Goldtip and they pretty much blew me off and told me to take it to another dealer and have the dealer call them and "if" it was bent the would replace the 1 arrow. I figure for 1 arrow I would rather keep the bent 1 to show people at 3D shoots that a carbon arrow can be bent and not broken. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen or seen it happen.

Thanks
Trytan

Never heard of that!

I have hit rocks and trees and never had a problem. Just changed my broadhead and kept on going.

yes, i've done it to an arrow also. bent the front 3" like a snake. it was a gold tip ultra lite. i shot it right into a full dimensional oak 2x4 and it buried about 3.5".the oak was already crackedin places from other arrows, but still hard. i dug it out with a chisel. i'm not sure if the hit did it or if my prying on the wood for 20 minutes did it. it got flexed hard every which way while i was prying and it was completely contained so it didn't break.
