Default pin lights

Does any of you use pin lights?
I never have and just got a new toxonics top gun three pin, just wonderering if the pin light is worth the trouble? Its seems like it is plenty bright in late afternoon!
But you know how you get the itch for a new add on

Had one made by cobra. Dang battery was always dead. If its dark enough you can't see your fiber optic pins then its probably to dark to be shooting anyway. Not worth mess'n with.

I agree with chief if it is too dark to see your pins without a lite it is too dark to shoot. Unless you light up your whole back yard like we do.[8D] Don't know how the neighbors feel about it but no complaints yet.

I have one on my Trophy Ridge and I love it. It offers a little boost. It was too bright originally but have covered it with duct tape and put a pin hole in it until I got the brightness wanted and it works awesome. I also make one with a multi-position swicth that supposedly works well.

Best

i have the copperjohn light on my sights and love em. i use the light even with plenty of shooting light left. it just helps me to see the pins that much better ensuring me a better shot.
