Default RE: new bow

You really Can't "know" without shooting, best thing I would say is to do as much research as you can. If you cannot find a shop that has any lefthanded bows, you could try to shoot righthanded to test the bows. For research I would suggest you determine a set of specs and what the bow is going to be used for.
1.Axle to axle(ata) length, if you are strictly target shooting you might want to go on the long side >38", for hunting you can go long or short ata. Generally a longer ata is more forgiving.
2. Brace height(BH) longer(forgiving) the better in any application. If you have a shorter draw 28">, you can generally go with a little shorter BH.
3. Reflex or deflex riser generally a deflex riser will be more forgiving but will also be slower than a reflex riser.
4. Single-cam or Dual-cam

Hope this helps. All the info here was learned from this MB. You can use the search function and learn alot, there are also several bow reviews here that are excellent.
The ones your shop is suggesting are very good, but there are something like 26 different bow manufactures,so find what you like.
I'm looking at a 2003 BT Patriot with dual cams. Goodluck!! in your quest for a new bow. Oh and let us know what you go with.
