Default suggestions for eliminating noise on my dual prong rest as I draw pls?

Guys,

I'm shooting an ancient, thoughupdated Bear Whitetail II, and I finally found a dual prong rest that I like pretty much. Using Easton 2117's alums...I'm trying to eliminate the sound of the alums scraping across the prong tips as I draw. I have tried electrical tape and that worked ok, but after a couple of weeks of pounding a target in the backyard- it has worn off. I appreciate any and all help.

I have not tried this, but my neighbors swear by putting a small amount of bow string wax on the outside of the shafts, i have never tried this but it sounded like it might work

Another thing you can try other then the above stated replys is clear nail polish.
A couple of coats will work on each prong .

Newman1 is right ... Moleskin is dead quiet and lasts much longer than heat shrink or teflon tape. Get it in the foot section (odor eaters, corn pads, etc) of a drug store, it's madeby Dr. Schoals. A package will practically last a lifetime!
