newbie??nock and whisker bisquit.
Aloha All,
First off , thanks to everyone on this forum, I read into it daily and it has really improved my bow and bow skills.
So this whole time It seemed like there was a little angle to my arrow when knocked on my bow. Its a 2000 Martin Jaguar , with a drop tine W.B and I shoot with fingers. So , it seemed the arrow would have a slight downward angle from the nock , thru the rest , and down to the tip. I measured along the riser to arrow and saw the front was lower than the rear part of arrow above riser .Just a bit. So I loossened the Whisker Bisquit bolt , nocked an arrow and levelled it out. Now it shoots really level and smooth, and still very accurate.
Heres the problem , now my W.B is slightly pointed up . So Im thinking I needed to lower my nocking point down a little.[&:]
Does this make sense to anyone , or should I just leave it??? I bet running it thru tunning test woul reveal some things
Thanks again everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: newbie??nock and whisker bisquit.
I shoot the WB on my bows. First thing I do is to get the bow, and arrow combo to produce perfect paper tears at 4 feet. That way I know everything down range will be fine, and that my broadheads will group with my feildpoints. As for arrow point position, my arrow point is perhaps a hair above level, but again to me perfect tears up close are the true measure of proper set up.
