I just noticed that the prices of the GT Ultra Light Pro shafts went up to $100 a dozen. Just a couple weeks ago they were $89 a dozen. What the heck happened? The standard GT ultra lightsare only$63 a dozen.
Anybody know a supplier that can get the Pro shafts for less than $100 a dozen?

I would take a guess it's because of the supply and demand.
I heard quite a bit of the equipment for the armed forces utilize carbon in one form or another and therefore makes it increasingly difficult for the arrow industry acquire.

The carbon fiber industry is facing shortages, as ampahunter mentioned. Shortages always equal price increases. However, the exact reason for the increase on that item, I couldn't even guess on. It could be one of many reasons.

If you can find any arrows from last year the prices should be the same as like you said $63 I just got the gold tip Pro-hunter arrows at Cabelas for $89.00 becasue they were still from last year. The Pro-shop had to order them and they would have been $120 the same increase went for the new Carbon Express Maximas. I guess a new tax is out on new archery supplys it has somthing to do with archery supplys that may be made over sea's?? I may be a little wrong with but that is what I heard and the prices have really gone UP!
