RE: brightest single pins?
I just purchased the new Toxonics 3 Pin Cross Breed sight and man are the pins bright. It's has an optional lite kit, but the pins are plenty light enough to get you right up to the end of shooting time.

RE: brightest single pins?
Bob I agree besides, I've already been able to see just a standard fiber pin when it's too dark to see the animal.....what's the point of seeing the pin if you can't see the animal? |
RE: brightest single pins?
That is indeed one of the problems with wrapped fibre pins. In fact, a few guys at the shop tape some of it off to dull them down a bit. If the pin is TOO bright, it essentially makes the pin bigger. Cobra Easy Slide is bright, but it's wrapped. I can't think of any that aren't.....

RE: brightest single pins?
ORIGINAL: goldtip46 who in your opinion has the brightest single pin set up or muliple single pin on the market without the coiled fiber optic. a sight that can be used for 3d and hunting. i saw a sword sight with the light and different size pins and was dissappointed. (apex micro 3rd plane btw) |
RE: brightest single pins?
FUFU
ive been shooting for years and have always been honest and upfront with all my hand on hand opinions of products i have seen first hand or tried out. no sword i was not happy with when i took a first hand look at there apex micro even with the light on. maybe some of the lights are better or even some of the fiber---maybe you got one of those super lights:Dit was just a honest upfront opinion on it first hand. the sight was extremely well made. but not satisfing to me. i hopre they work out great for you and anyone else that has one. good fiber to you:) |

RE: brightest single pins?
HHA has the best single pin IMHO the adjustable ring can turn down the brightness of the sight pin or let more light in at dawn and dusk . at midday the pin can be like looking at the sun so turn down the outter ring and dim the pin down .
