HNI Visitor, I think the best information that anyone can give you would be to have you go to your nearest Archery Pro Shop and get the help of a Professional in this field. The information that you're requesting is really a very detailed and labor involved since it sounds like you're starting from scratch. HNI, do what BTS suggested. After you gain some experience, you can begin to tinker. But I must agree that initial setup is important, to initial success with shooting well. Good luck.
