YA, YA, YA,...and it will end up with cracks in it too! JK! HA!:D

I heard somewhere he was using his womans name or initials for the model number of his products. I guess that explains where he got thetitles K8 andEZ. :D:D:D

RE: Pics and video of Elite E-Force

I saw that stuff yesterday and watching the video plus reading the comments has helped me solidify my decision on buying an 06 bowtech- (if I buy).
I'm sure Elite will do well, but speed isn't free and if their smooth mods feel like the current BT speed mods then we know where the speed came from.
Can't let up any without jerking me forward? been there done that- I'l pass. Maybe this could be tuned out of the cam with some adjustments. My biggest gripe is how they are leading some people on by telling them their bows will ship "next week" when this weeks demo bows don't even have stencils or grips on them yet.

I welcome Elite and hope they do well, their existance should at least raise the bar for rest of the big names out there- not only to keep up, but also tryand stay ahead.

Even though the thread-starter was giving it a glowing review, these sure aren't any character traits that I find favorable myself...

Now don't get me wrong but there was nothing EZ about drawing this bow. Even with the EZ mod it drew harder then a Hoyt Spiral cam. Draw curve was hard and long, but wait it does get better. When the cam rolled over it was the best wall I have ever felt. NO VALLEY and rock solid wall. If you creeped AT ALL you would get your arm ripped out
Think I'll still take my smooth draw with nice valley and rock-solid wall generating tremendous speeds. ;)

RE: Pics and video of Elite E-Force

Trust me Kevin doesn't give a crap about nice draw force curves......the guy can draw 100# bows with ease and considers 70# range "Sissy weight". I think his "Flight" bow is about 140# draw weight?
Any extra speed those bows will generate over the similar (similar is kind of a funny comparison;)) Bowtech models will be built into the force curve and how much energy the cams store.
If the EZ draw mods feel like Bowtechs "Fast" mods then you already figured that out.
Any extra speed from those bows is smoke and mirrors and more agressive draw force curves.

Also, no40 grs of string silencers, or Eliminator buttons on that string.

I'll rig up my 30"/70# Allegiance and fling a few through the chrono for you guys.....smooth and fast mods. I just happen to have some 400gr test arrows.
Let me see what I can come up with.......I'll take a picture of the chronograph as soon as I put out the fire.;)

I read the whole thread and seen the video and pics and my only question was why there were so many BowTech parts on that bow? It had a BowTech quick attach quiver mount on the sight, BowTechdraw stop post,BowTech cable slide and,, sure did look like last year's Allegiance limbs with the tamper-proof screws in the limb fork ends[&:]. I'd sure like to put a caliper on those limbs and compare data with my '05 limbs;)

That thread was the icing on the cake for me....I went and ordered an 06 Allegiance....:D

Didn't check it out yet but considering all the pot-stirrin' it is causing I am tempted to head over to the heathen-site....;)

Seems weird to me that the top of the riser rolled over back towards the shooter after the shot. I would have liked to seen him try to let down slowly from full draw.
Supposedly they have a retro kit for the 05 Allegiance. Would be interesting to see the differences in performance/ shootability of the upgrade.

The top of the riser "rolled back" because either the grip is very low wristed or the shooter was heeling the grip with his hand position. Also the bow that was being shot didn't have a grip on it which could explain the roll back. Short and light stab too;)

I looked at their web site yesterday and also noticed that the price on those Barnsdale limbs went up from $75.00 to $125.00. The Barnsdale limbs also don't show the tamper proof screws in the ends of the limb forks like the '05 BowTech Binary limbs.

"A harsh draw curve with no valley and a string that wants to rip out of your hands" doesn't exactly warm my heart. I actually emailed them for a price and some more information but they never responded. So I bought an 06 Bowtech instead. Emailed PAt Dinan late last night with a technical question and had an answer from him by 9.00 am this morning. And people say Bowtech don't have good customer service???? I will stick with Bowtech thanks.

Exactly why,, IMO the BowTech Binary cams with the module choice has been so popular this year. I have shot the fast modules on my Tribute and they are fine but those smooth mods,,,,,:) they sure make these old shoulders:D

Same here.....but that video sealed the deal with me. I wish everyone good luck with their Elite bows whenever they get them. I went and bought a 2006 Allegiance instead and am still :D

You got that $hit right Bro!

That record he set was a w/ a 175 pounder, IIRC

that sunnuvabeatch yanked back those 70 and 80 pound BK cams as quick and easy as I do my son's old $10 Kmart special 2 pounder.

So whats the scoop here...he's got a new company? He left BT? (I'm waayyyy outta the loop)

Greg/MO, I am not sure how glowing my review was.I was merely pointing something that i thought was interesting.I did not say that i was wanting to buy an Elite at any time, and as a matter of fact i have two bowtechs(probably not as many as you ,but the again i am not aPro Staff shooter)and will continue to shoot Bowtechs until i can't shoot anymore.

Newman,
Greg was referring to the guy who started the original thread on Archerytalk.

Thanks, Matt... Yep Newman -- he's exactly right; I was referring to LeEarl on AT, the guy who started that thread.

JeffB, you seriously been outta the loop that long? :)I'm sure someone'll PM you with the good stuff, but Kevin's designing and building for a company called Elite Archery now.... Oh wait, that's not right -- his new wife's doing all the design and engineering work. You know, all that modeling experience can really teach you a thing about draw force curves and modular systems... ;)

No Jeff ,her name is Kate ,and I'm taking that she's as good of an engineer as she is a looker LOL.

From what I just read over there ,there's quite a stir because they have put back their delivery date and called back all their part's ,because of the rubberized coating wasn't cured correctly and is flaking off .

OHHHH the ache's and pain's of starting up a new archery company .
