Default I just bought a new BowTech.

I just boughta new BowTech Tribute.
I shot the Hoyt, Trykon & Trykon XL. IMHO the Hoyt Trykon XL felt much better than the standard Trykon.
I also shot the Mathews Switchback. I just did not like the feel of the Mathews bow in my hands.
After shooting the BowTech Tribute the choice was clear for me. The BowTech just felt better in my hands. I shot several bows before making my choice. The choice was easy.
The service at the BowTech proshop is better than the other proshop in town also.

Honestly one of the finest bows I've ever shot; you'll be well pleased, I'm sure!

Congratulations!!! Always excitting to see somebody test out the BowTech Line and take one home. Make sure to get the properly spined arrows, so it can perform it's best.

Yes I can give you some stats.
Draw lenght- 29-inch
Draw Weight- 70-pounds. Peak weight-70.6-pounds.
My total arrow weight, 450-grains.
IBO Speed with a 350-grain arrow-316-f.p.s.
Speed Modular installed.
My true arrow speed? I never shot it over the cronograph.
I would like to know a ball park figure on my speed?
My wife will not let me near a bow shop for at least another month.

Wolf,

I believe 45 grains of arrow weight reduces speed by approx 10 fps. Subtract another 10 fps off the speed for your 29 inch DL. My guess is you should be around 285 fps with your 450 grain arrows. VERY NICE! Let us know what the chrono shows.

Congratulations on the new bow. It sound like one sweet shooter. I have yet to hear anyone say anything negative about the new Tribute. That says something when you consider how critical a lot we bowhunters can be.

As for the speed estimate, I would be a little more conservative than Mildot and say somewhere around 270-275 fps with those 450 grain arrows. Some impressive numbers especially when you figure that your setup is putting out between 73 and 76 ft. lbs of KE!
