Bowtech draw weight
I am thinking on purchasing a new bow this year, being either the Allegiance or Tribute.I like the fact they came out with the interchangable mods this year.
Question being,I shoot 70#s easily but was thinking on going down to say 65lbs,making it much easier when the temps really drop.I like my bow maxed out and not cranked down.I was wondering if Bowtech still offers their models on "the heavy side"?
I know a few years ago a guy could order a Patriot in 60#model and it would max out at around 63-64 lbs.
Thanks for the help

I also normally pull 65# and was wondering if the fast mods at 60# would be livable seeing how I'd be dropping 5# of draw weight.
I'm in no need of a new bow, just like to leave the option open....

RE: Bowtech draw weight
If I could do it all over again, I would get the 60 pound bow, crank it all the way up and install the speed/fast cams. Yes you will be happy with the 60 pound bow. The 70 pound bow I have has 5 pounds more than I need or can use. I have to keep my bow down to keep me in the .340 spine range. Any higher with my bow and it forces me into the next spine which requires a very heavy 520+ grain arrow. So basically I'm not using the top power of this bow. 60 pound bow with fast cams would have been more than enough.
