Default Parker ultra lite 31????

I just left Bass Pro shop, and held the parker ultra lite 31, felt great! Being a lefty they didn't have one for me to shoot (go figure). Does anyone hunt with a short axa bow??? If so, what do you shoot, and how forgiving are the shorties???? I would use this bow for tree stand hunting only.

The Parker UL 31 is a really nice little bow! I've shot it a few times and was impressed. Several friends have them and they are all very happy.

Good Luck!

PRACTICE....PRACTICE....PRACTICE......SUCCESS!

Well I just got a 8point buck and a button buck last weekend with my Parker Ultra Light 31 ( both from tree stands)I shoot a 26 inch draw, 57lbs, 344 grain arrows, 100 grain fixed blade broadheads. I find the bow requires the best in my shooting form. I love the bow and cant say enough good things about it.

I got one this summer and I love it. I did make one modification to it. I didn't like the grip so I sanded it down and made it smaller. Later, I decided I didn't like that so I just took it off and put some sims insulator wrap on it. I think it draws a little different that way but it sure feels good to hold in the hand. Just so you know most pro shops sell that bow for $529 which may be a little lower than Bass Pro. I am not familiar with the type of service and help you would get at Bass Pro but you may be better off to go with an archery pro shop. By the way I went from a 40 inch ata bow and have not had any problem shootin a short ata bow, but I have been shooting for many years.

Gander Mountain had this bow on clearance, left handed, for around $350. This was their Peoria IL store, you might want to check them if they are around you anywhere.

Got one this summer myself. No complaints here, light, easy to shoot. Super quiet also.

If you like the short bows, this is a good one. I personnaly don't like to go below 37" A-A. The one thing I do not like about the Parkers is the 80% let-off. I prefer some tension at full draw. The 80% gets way to easy to move the string out of alignment at full draw.

Congrat on the new bow. I shoot a Bowtech Tech29 (29.5" ata). I really like this bow. My set up is 25"@60lbs. I've only heard good things about the Parker.

RodVos; I was able to purchase from my local Parker dealer the 65% module for $10:00. Now I can shoot 65 or 80 percent let off anytime I chose by simple changing the module. I also did not care for the grip that came on my bow it was to much high wrist grip for me . I am a low wrist grip lady. I also did the cutting and drum sanding needed to alter my grip and was able to shape a new custom fit grip that I love.
