RE: Cobra Sure-Loc Sidewinder

I have this Tox on my Tribute. It's pretty bright but not nearly as that of my wife's Cobra Sidwinder. This one is the K9-3.

Question for you, does this sight vibrate at all or make any noise at the shot due to the coils of optic inside the holder? And secondly, if a fiber gets broken can you spool out another length from the coils and remount it? I am going to buy one this spring and was thinking of either the Toxonics you have or the sidewinder.

The wife's Sidewinder does make a little buzz, but that's because her bow is so quiet that you can actually hear it. The K-9 is silent in that regard but it's very light and Ithought I could hear a bit of "tuning fork" niose from the sight. I mounted a small Limb Saver accessory saver on it and while shooting it today I didn't notice any noise at all. I like the small round sight housing and if I can mount a lense in it,,,, I'll be VERY happy!!
