Default Alpine Fatal Impact

I saw this bow on Bowhunting. net under their sweepstakes give away. Looks like a long riser PSE Tazman with a steep limb angle and a little reflex. I like to see the new bows coming out!!

Wow, is that thing ugly! Definately looks like it had an "impact" that was "fatal"! LOL! I don't get it, whatever happened to "bows with style"? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess! I think the Hoyt Tec bows are ugly, too, and they're very popular, so there ya go. Maybe they'll sell a million of 'em! Good shooting, Pinwheel 12

Is it just me or does it look like the sides of the limbs are exposed in the limb pockets? It also looks like there is some extra material on the front of the limb pockets. Too bad there aren't any specs on that bow. I'd be curious to see what some of them are such as mass weight. I'll say this, it is...um, interesting looking.

Very interesting design. It is pretty heavy for a split limb bow. That bulky riser definitely removes any weight advantages that would be realized with split limbs. I hope it turns out to be a winner for them

Alpine has some new ideas. I like the looks of the Ravage, 28 axa, with a 7.5 inch brace height. Looks good, and quite.

With the new long riser, steep limb angle design it will be hard to keep the weight down. I have the Patriot which is 4 1/4 pounds as is the Legacy so the Alpine is right in the ball park with them. The extra weight has helped me with accuracy compaired to another bow I have that is 3.5 pounds. As far as carrying it while hunting, I don't notice it. What I do notice is the tight groups at 40 and 50 yards when the wind is blowing compared to the lighter bow. Trade offs are just that. I think the Alpine bow will do well this year for them because the limb angle has proven advantages.
