In line with the original question, when you creep tune the bow don't you take the cams out of time?

Len,

No problem,I'm better off now than before!

Now I have to readup on the creep tune thing. I thought the idea is to pull to the wall and ease off ita bit just before release, butI'm probably way offbase....

What's a "bit"....any where near a "tad"? Is a "Bit" when I'm feeling strong and refreshed smaller or bigger than a "BIT" when I'm just dog aZZED tired? Draw, anchor solid and squeeze it off. Don't be creeping on that puppy. We need to have the draw lenght so we hit the wall and lock in. That way it's the SAME every shot. We're not playing with variable "Bits". Would 8 Variable bits equal a random byte?[8D][8D]

Then I don't know what creep tuning is... I briefed an article at the site that said something about firing off the wall led to less accuracy.

Doug, you need to get a copy and then read "Core Archery" by Larry Wise. Just a summary but he advises that once you start drawing the bow you transfer the work from the arms and shoulders to the back. Establishing this back tension and NEVER give it up. Once you obtain back tension you should maintain it, because once lose it it's gone.

I agree about Larry Wise's book. Except I'd skip over the target panic areas if you dont have it. otherwise, reading all the symptoms and everything will make bad things happen :(

Doug:

With all due respect, you'll get more confused unless you get a good form lesson. With good form, you'll shoot more comfortably and with much more confidence. With muscles locked up, trying to make evaluative changes becomes difficult to impossible.

Don't do anything until after the season is over. After all, we're just getting into the rut. Making any changes now might hurt you more than help you. You've been shooting that way for years and it might take some time to override bad habits. Go with the confidence you've had for years.

Good luck and good hunting.
