RE: gold tip arrows
IMO, based on 30+ years in archery is---there is no such thing in archery that is est on the end, as b---est. There is junk, there is good and there is better-------for each individual. Thos ehtta saysomething is THE best, I question what experience they have with anything else.
Now all this being said, I've shot many arrows over the years,, carbon and aluminum. Gold Tips are as good as any, but comparing them to arrows of like specs and price. There are cheap carbons and there are top rate carbons. Every maker has several different grades. Compare apples to apples. I'm shooting Ultralite Pro 22's that cost about $110/doz.They are hand picked per dozen, .001 straightness and .5 gr weight tolerance. Now would it be fair to compare them to Easton Epics that cost $60, are stright to .005 and vary 2 gr in a dozen? The answer is an obvious "NO". So just remember, when we compare carbons let's consider this. |
