RE: which scott
The only Scott release that I've used is the Mongoose. It's a good release but it wouldn't be my first choice for a string loop because the jaws are pretty big. I did try on a Lil-Goose and it has a much smaller head which would seem better for a loop but I did not get to take any shots with it.
I've read alot of good things about the Carter Quickie when shooting with a loop.

I shoot a Little Goose off a loop and love it. It is dead silent and has a adjustable trigger as slick as any good rifle I have ever shot. I have never tried a Carter but hear good things about them. I would try them both and go with what you like best.

I have been playing around with the sabertooth at the shop lately and this release is absolutely awesome. Smoothe as silk, thin & narrow stainless steel jaws, and the trigger is moved foward to place your trigger finger much closer to the jaws.
I really don't like a wrist release but I think I may have to get me one for myself.

I hate the single caliper releases for hooking to a loop. Maybe it's just me but I find that the loop tends to get stuck between the rear of the jaw and the stationary side of the release. I much prefer the dual caliper style.

I switched to a mongoose this year and haven't had any issue's with it.I was loving the spring trigger and the surprise shot it provided until it fell off in the yard.
That sabertooth does look sweet!
