Ok, one more question!

I have looked at the after market cable slides and the only one I see that is an out board type does not have the ability to connect the string for my drop away rest. Suggestions????:eek:

Well that one I can't hep you with. I don't use a drop away rest.....Whisker Biscuit for me:D

If you need to use the cable slide provided my the rest manufacturer, go buy a Muzzy cable rod. They are adjustable so that you can turn them farther away from the string. That will give you the clearance you need. Be careful not to adjust it too far out as it will cause your cables to not line up with the cams.

I have a clearance issue with my vanes hitting my cables too. I shoot a drop away rest, so all I did was rotate my nocks so that the fletchings would clear the cables and problem solved.You may want to try that if you shoot a drop away or biscuit b/c rotating the nocks wont cause clearance issues with those types of rests.

J12 is giving some decent advice. Just remember that is you go with an outside slide you'll be able (and I recommend it) to adjust your rod more toward the string. You want to turn it enough to give the needed cable clearance, but not much more as this will just torque the cables to the side unneccessarily creating more limb twist and possible wear on the cable where it rolls around the cam. Don't be afraid to play with it. It's not all that hard.
