I haven't heard anything like that but if the insurgents in Iraq start using them in their vests,,, stay away from anyone with a Mathews cap and an overcoat

Of course they're not the best, but neither is any other bow.

The day they start prohibiting their use in primitive weapon hunting seasons, will be the day I believe one has blown up. Of course, all bows occassionally break, even your brand.

Matthews makes a good bow. They may be having some problems with the Switchback but that doesn't change the fact that they are a quality piece of equipment and I am sure they will stand behind their products.

I have not seen any problems with my own two eyes that is why I said they "may" be having some. I don't know for sure. You hear some rumors but rumors aren't always true. BUT if they are true then I am sure Matthews will rectify the situation
