Well, I just left the hospital for the second time today. I spent a couple hours in the waiting room during the surgury. They had their facts a little screwed up the last time I was there. At 4:00 they said he would be coming out any minute... they were finishing up. WRONG!!!
The thing was a little bigger than they thought. They had to call in a specialist as they thought it was attached to the liver and colon. Fortunetly it wasn't. It was just so large it was pressed hard against it and just stuck there... NOT ATTACHED. They didn't finish until around 5:30. They had just wheeled him up to a room around 7:00. He gave birth to an 8 pound tumor... all self contained it looks like. They had to do a little more cutting than they thought but not as bad as first stated.
I just stuck my head in and said hello. Hugged the wife and kids and let him have his rest. If you want to attach a note and they are fit for family reading I'll print it out and take it to him.

I'm happy to hear that everything turned out good!!
I wish you a speedy recovery and want to let you know that your absence here is felt.
P.S. "You gave birth to a 8lb tumor?"<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> What are you gonna name it?<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
