Which of these bows is the best for the money???

My girlfrinds brother wants a new bow, but he does not want to spend more than $300-$350. I shoot a Mathews Legacy and my previous bow was a Mathews Featherlite, so I don't have much experience with these bows. I picked these bows out of the Cabelas and Bass Pro catalogs all are around 300 fps and 31"-35" axle to axle with 7-8" brace height range.

What are your top 2 or 3 picks for overall quality and value? I would like to have 2 or 3 in mind to have him shoot, without overwhelming him with 10 bows to look at.

PSE Typhoon CF $350
Browning F5 Tornado $350
Ben Pearson Spoiler $350
Parker Hunter Mag $340
PSE Fire Flight 33 CF $330
Reflex Excursion $280
Buckmasters Vapor 300 $280

Thank you for your input.

Tom

Out of your choices my pick of the litter would be the Parker Hunter Mag.

Don't overlook the PSE line. The 2005 models really look pretty decent.

I'd look at the Typhoon and the Hunter Mag... both can be had in kit form for less than $450.

It's a tossup if you ask me. Pearson Spoiler or Parker. The best place for the PSE's is hanging on the rack.

I don't think you could go wrong with the Parker. They make a fine bow and they take care of the people who buy from them. Not saying the others don't, just relaying what I have seen down at the local shop.

It won't make much difference. Far more important is that it have the correct draw length and his preferred ATA, brace height, draw cycle and is tuned to perfection.
