Alpha Shox problem
#1
I recently switched from ultra limbsavers to alpha shox for various reasons. My limbsavers kept tearing, and, I just wanted to try them. Wow, are they quieter. I do have a problem however. After 5-10 shots, they start dislodging themselves from my limbs, and I have to re-install them. Is this normal, or have I done something wrong?

without seeing how you put them in and I don't know much about them but I do know that what your saying doesn't happen to a few friends of mine who shoot reflex and hoyt bows with alpha shocks. take it to the pro shop and see if they can tell whats wrong. soory I couldn't be more help.

It might help to know what kind of bow you have them installed on. If the gap between the limbs is larger than what they were designed for (Hoyts).. then that may be the cause of your issue.

I've never had that problem. In fact, just the opposite. Mine were positioned further away from the cams than recommended. It was a lot of work just to move them up the limbs to the proper position.
