Hi all -- I moved a few posts that were off topic to the existing thread on that topic.
As to the emails, as previously explained, they were sent out by HN for our advertisers. Our advertisers themselves never get email addresses from us. There should have been an unsubscribe link in the last email and there wasn't, an oversight we are going to correct.
Thank you all for your support,
Paul

To stop receiving emails from newsletters, follow these steps:
- Unsubscribe Link:
- Most newsletters include an "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email. Click on this link and follow the instructions to remove yourself from the mailing list.
- Email Settings:
- Some newsletters may allow you to manage your subscription preferences directly from your email account. Look for links like "Manage Preferences" or "Update Subscription."
- Spam or Junk Folder:
- Mark the newsletter as spam or junk. This will help your email provider filter similar emails in the future.
- Email Filters:
- Create filters in your email settings to automatically delete or move newsletters to a separate folder.
- Contact the Sender:
- If the unsubscribe link doesn't work, reply to the newsletter with a request to be removed from the mailing list.
- Third-party Services:
- Use services like Unroll.me or Clean Email, which help you unsubscribe from multiple newsletters at once.
