Why can't we have the full site option back?

Can't post pictures anymore from a smart phone. Ever since you guys eliminated the option to go to the full site instead of the mobile one, options are severely limited. Why?

If you scroll to the bottom of the mobile skin, you will see the link to go to the full site. It's always been there.
