Vbulletin has had the embed feature since 2005, or so.
I think a lot of guys here would enjoy the option, plus, in 2015, clicking on hyperlinks can be sketchy...

Is this what you mean by imbedding a video in the text?
Here is the code I used - to show you the code I removed the square brackets - just put square brackets at each end of the code listed below and it will look like above. [ ]

No; this is the embed code for that video:

Found under the share tab>embed option under the vid on Youtube
This gives a preview in the user's post, the video may be watched without navigating away from HN1.
