go to Van Dykes web site. The address is www.vandykestaxidermy.com. They have a whole selection of videos and books you can get. Also there is Dan Chase which has a whole course you can take through the mail with videos and books. You can call Van Dykes at 1800 843 3320. Good luck

Is there any books or videos that show you how to skin animals to be mounted? I would like to try and mount deer, turkey, fish, & waterfowl. I know there are serval ways to cape or skin an animal, but I would like to know the best way. Any help would be appreciated.

Another option would be to go to taxidermy school. You can learn a ton in 6 weeks and then you'll know how to do most anything.........Just something to think about.
