shot at 25 yards with a Mahaska recurve, 2018 easton, and a zwickey eskimo, heart shot. Cary aka GRIZZ

Here is my first archery deer I shot last season. Check out the old huntingnet.com stories for the full story of the buck. Thought I'd do something a little different with the mount... Hope you like it.

we aren't exactly sure what happened to it... the deer wandered in front of my dad when he was hunting with me when i was little with an arrow stuck in his shoulder... DEC's guess was that his body was using all available calcium including that from his antlers to heal his shoulder... but i guess we'll never really know
