Default Black Death

This guy was shot is South Africa by a buddy of mine. I did the taxidermy work.

How thick and tough is their skin? To survive that African life they gotta be some tough critters.

The skin isn't really much thicker than a Whitetail. Nothing like a Giraffe, but very tough animals.

That's surprising to me but I don't know much about animal skin. I've skinned whitetail, hogs, elk, pronghorn and a bear and all sorts of small game.

Those are some fierce animals. I'ld like to hunt them someday but only with a gun. To big of a chicken to go after them with the bow!
