Default Bobcat

I posted asking for help with some habitat ideas and we ended up with this. Think it turned out pretty dang good and the taxidermist did bang up job.

Yes sir, that looks pretty good! Remind us of some of the hunt/trap details?

Really not too much to it. I was on an evening doe management hunt and had just taken a nice doe and racked another shell in. This cat came out right away and started putting a stalk on the doe as she bolted into the wood line. I had never taken a bobcat and this was the first one I had seen while it was legal to do so, so I didn't hesitate.

Interesting that the shot didn't scare it. It must have been so focused in on it's stalk that it ignored the noise.

That looks awesome. I would try and get a rabbit or a game bird mounted to put with it. Then it would look like it’s trying to get it .. Just an idea that’s all..
