Just browsing and came across your question. If you don't get any help on this site, try posting the same question on floridasportsman.com in the hunting section, you may get some replies there...good luck

Default gator skin

Mack, there is no kit available on the market that will turn your gator skin into real workable leather, the best choice in my professional opinion is to send it to American tanning in Georgia, speak with Mr. Chris Plott, they are the best hands down.

Default Gator preservation of mounts??

I have a life sized Florida gator mount. I've stored in a shop the last few years. This year I moved it into storage and it has started having some white looking decay on the hide of the legs. I am not sure what is going on... Does any one have an idea of what this might be and how it might be treated???
