Default Tanning an Alligator Hide?

I have two alligator hides coming to me that the customer wants tanned and wanting them to be original in color not black, yellow or anything else. I have tanned deer hides before and had no problems but this is a horse of a different color. How can i tan the gator hides; what steps, chemicals,etc.. can i use to do this and have a satisfied customer? Thanks

Send them to an actual tannery. It is not a project I would recommend for someone.

i appreciate it unfortunately for me when i told them they should look into a tannery they didn't wont to spend the super high cost associated with it. They would rather keep it in there freezers or take a chance on me screwing it up so i guess that is what might happen. Guessing i will do it much like a deer hide and see how it turns out. Thanks
