Default Pets & Your Mounts!!

Gang,

My daughter wants to get a cat as a pet! The problem is that I have 6 mounted turkeys (as well as a wall full of squirrels) and coyotes in my game room - no door on the room. I'm scared that I'll return home to find a pile of feathers and/or fur on the floor.

Does anyown have any input on whether the cat will bother the mounts?

Thanks in advance

BHW

Cats like stuff that twitches, flutters, squeaks and basically moves around.

Mounts don't do anything that would even attract a cat.

Make sure the kitten has toys and someone plays with it. Once the kitten grows up the end up just laying around.

Get one of those gates for pets and toddlers if you are really concerned.

We have two dogs and a cat and none of them has even shown a curiousity towards any of our mounts. At most, the dogs will sniff a deer head for a couple of seconds if we take it down to clean.

dont make any difference if the mounts move or not

i have several guys that come by the shop and their dogs come right along with them

and the animals on my walls
dogs look at them, bark and carry on
and would grab them if possible

cats are even more sneaky lol

My advice to you, Don't do it! Cats belong outside were they fall into the ditch tiger catagory which falls into the fair game catagory.............

I suggest putting a door on...... learned that the hard way. Luckily they only got ahold of a couple beards.

Nothing like giving ammo to the anti's. Especially on a public forum.

We need more Macho Men like this in our ranks.

Don't think we don't have anti's watching this site. About 2 years ago, I had a woman email me about a picture I posted on this site. It was of some deer in my back yard. She was begging me not to shoot them.

Posts like yours just give them fuel. I personally don't agree with killing people's pets and pretending to be some great hunter by making jokes about doing so.
