The deer pictured on the " Just got back from my taxidermist" post is a very good example of a quality mount. Please note the shape of the eyes, hair pattern on the ears and armpits and the location of the ears and shape of the ear butts. This is an excellent mount.

Anybody who has commented on the mounts about what they see is wrong is right on the money. All that means is you have to try harder and work with good photos of live deer and handle critique better. These guys are only trying to help. Good luck in your future mounts.

I totally agree with RG. Do the best that you can, and try to improve on your trouble spots. Use plenty of good reference. Constructive critisism will only help you to get better. Best of luck in your future mounts.
