Preparing hide to get tanned?
Any recommendation on what needs done to prepare a hide to send off to get tanned?
If you have any informative web sites that will help as well.
What does it usually cost to get a deer hide tanned?

We send out hides out to East Coast Taxidermy / East Coast Tannery.
We send them a freshly skun frozen cape. They do everything and send it back ready to mount. They have my moose hide right now. They are actually in PA too... I believe it is Telford.
