Default what to do

Shot this 10pt. Saturday during wisconsins rifle season and am debating if I should get a full bust mounting of it or just do an english skull mount. The big question is do I want to spend the money. The inside spread is only 16" and and the G2s are about 9".

It's too late to ask this question, you already shot him.

If you can't afford a quality shoulder mount, go with a european. If it were mine, I would have it shoulder mounted. It looks like it has a pretty cape.

Its all up to you, if I were you I would investigate and look at a lot of mounts before I deside on one, animal skins will last a while in the freezer, I have heard of taxidermists who leave them in the deep freeze for almost 3 months before working on it.

Imagine yourself 20+ years from now. How do you want to remember that moment? A skull that your wife hates or a well done shoulder mount. Yes it will cost some but later it pays for itself with memories. Dang I need to remember that.
