Default Coyote Hide?

I was recently deer hunting with a .270 and shot a coyote. The 150 grain nosler partition bullet left a large hole in the hide. I am curious if this hide was worth tanning. I don't want to do it myself and plan on taking it to a taxidermist. But my question is, can a large hole in the hide be fixed or is the hide junk now?

If the skin was not blown of but rather a big hole ripped, then it can be fixed, and depending on the color one might be able to get a piece from another yote to piece it.

I had a client bring me a grey fox he shot with a 50 cal muzzleloader and it sewed right back up. If all the pieces are there, no problem.

Good luck, I blasted a yote with my 270 wsm and it left a huge exit wound (blow out)

If all the pieces are there it's an easy fix.
